About the design
Two donkeys in a snug Devon stable have solved the problem of where to hang the Christmas stockings. There's no fireplace and no mantelpiece, but there are four very long ears, so each donkey has a red stocking hanging from each one. They look extremely pleased with themselves. The card is called Hee-Haw-liday Cheer.
Donkeys have been part of the British Christmas story for a long time, and Devon is home to one of the country's best-known donkey sanctuaries. Those long ears aren't just for stockings. They help donkeys hear over long distances and lose heat in the hot, dry places their ancestors came from. That same desert ancestry is why donkeys need a good shelter in a British winter: their coats aren't as waterproof as a horse's, so a dry stable full of straw, like this one, is exactly what they want.
It's a warm, funny card for donkey lovers, families with children who've just been in the school nativity, and anyone who has ever adopted a donkey as a Christmas present. It pairs well with the sheep choir for a farmyard theme.
What's in the pack

Each pack contains 10 copies of Hee-Haw-liday Cheer: 5 × 7 inch (127 × 178 mm) gloss greeting cards printed on 280gsm card, each with “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” printed inside and its own kraft envelope. The pack is £16.99 and UK delivery is free.
Every pack is printed to order by our printer here in the UK and sent by standard post. Most orders arrive within about a week, and Etsy shows a delivery estimate for your postcode before you buy.
