About the design
In a candlelit Dales barn, the sheep choir has gathered in red and green scarves for the carol service, and the conductor is the smallest member of the flock: a very serious lamb standing on a crate, waving a holly twig. Half the choir is singing and the other half is watching the lamb. It's called Fleece Navidad, and yes, the pun came first.
The Yorkshire Dales are sheep country. Dry-stone walls climb every hillside, and the Swaledale ram, with its black face and curled horns, is the emblem of the national park. Most lambs in the Dales are born in spring rather than at Christmas, so our conductor is either very early or very precocious. Hill sheep stay out on the fells for much of the winter, and their thick fleeces keep them warmer than you'd think.
Send it to choir members, music teachers, farming friends, anyone who loves walking in the Dales, and anyone who will groan at the title and then laugh anyway. It's one of the most popular puns in the range, and it reads well from across the room on a mantelpiece.
What's in the pack

Each pack contains 10 copies of Fleece Navidad: 5 × 7 inch (127 × 178 mm) gloss greeting cards printed on 280gsm card, each with “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” printed inside and its own kraft envelope. The pack is £16.99 and UK delivery is free.
Every pack is printed to order by our printer here in the UK and sent by standard post. Most orders arrive within about a week, and Etsy shows a delivery estimate for your postcode before you buy. For Christmas, we suggest ordering by 14 December; that's a provisional date, so earlier is safer. Sending your cards yourself? Our guide to last posting dates for Christmas 2026 has the Royal Mail deadlines.
