About the design
A long line of geese is marching across a snowy village green in perfect single file, and at the front is the leader they've all decided to follow: a snowman in a bobble hat and scarf. He hasn't moved, but that hasn't put them off. The card is called A Gander-ful Christmas (a gander, if you're wondering, is a male goose).
Geese have a reputation for being bossy, loud and very good guards, which is why some farms and village ponds keep them. They are also flock birds that like to follow a leader, whether that's an older goose on a long flight or, in this case, a snowman. Every autumn Britain also welcomes huge numbers of wild geese, such as pink-footed geese from Iceland and Greenland, which spend the winter on our coasts and fields.
Send it to anyone who has been chased by a goose and lived to tell the tale, to village-green regulars, to farm shops and to anyone who likes a card with a slow-burn joke. It's part of our farmyard set with the hen and the piglets.
What's in the pack

Each pack contains 10 copies of A Gander-ful Christmas: 5 × 7 inch (127 × 178 mm) gloss greeting cards printed on 280gsm card, each with “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” printed inside and its own kraft envelope. The pack is £16.99 and UK delivery is free.
Every pack is printed to order by our printer here in the UK and sent by standard post. Most orders arrive within about a week, and Etsy shows a delivery estimate for your postcode before you buy. For Christmas, we suggest ordering by 14 December; that's a provisional date, so earlier is safer. Sending your cards yourself? Our guide to last posting dates for Christmas 2026 has the Royal Mail deadlines.
