Seal Pup Christmas Cards, Pack of 10

About the design

On a frosty Cornish slipway, two seals have been busy stacking pebbles into a Christmas tree, balancing them biggest at the bottom and smallest on top. One is adding the final touches and the other is admiring the work, and the whole thing is wobbling slightly. The harbour cottages glow in the winter sun behind them. The card is called Seal-ebrate Christmas.

Grey seals really do have their pups around the British coast in autumn and winter, and Cornwall's coves and beaches are among the places they come ashore. Newborn pups have a fluffy white coat for the first few weeks, then moult into a sleeker grey one, like our pair here, before heading to sea. If you see a seal pup on a beach, the advice from wildlife charities is to keep well back, keep dogs on a lead and let it rest.

This card is a good choice for anyone who loves the seaside, Cornwall regulars, sea swimmers, surfers and anyone who has ever watched a seal bob up in a harbour. It pairs nicely with the otters for a coastal wildlife theme.
